Mariya “Money Mashka” Agapova

Born in Kazakhstan, Mariya Agapova’s journey is a testament to hard work, resilience, and a dedication to her goals to be the best. Mariya started boxing at 8 years old initially to learn how to defend herselfl, but soon discovered a love for martial arts which propelled her throughout her entire career. During her teenage years she would become a two-time national boxing champion in Kazakhstan, but soon after decided it was time to transition to MMA.

Mariya started her amateur MMA career in the WMMAA league and was able to to capture the world championship soon after. Her first professional debut was in the Chinese league, Heroine FC where she won the world championship after an impressive TKO victory. After competing internationally in countries like Russia, China, and Kazakhstan, Mariya was invited to compete in the third season of Dana White’s Contender Series. Mariya competed in the UFC for 4 years gaining performance of the night wins over notable fighters like Hannah Cifers and Sabina Mazo. Currently Mariya is signed the newly created and highly anticipated fight league GFL as a bantamweight for team Miami, and as also signed with Bareknuckle FC.

Mariya brings her wealth of experience and technical expertise to our team, with the knowledge and experience necessary to teach kids proper offensive and defensive mechanics for striking. With a deep understanding of the sport and an unrelenting passion for martial arts, she’s ready to elevate the next generation of MMA fighters.
